The Lance Armstrong Foundation and donations
Since 1997 the Lance Armstrong Foundation has raised more than $250 million to support their mission to inspire and empower people affected by cancer. They have provided financial resources to more than 550 organizations that conduct cancer survivorship research or offer services to people affected by cancer, and 80 cents of every dollar donated to the LAF has supported their cancer survivorship programs and initiatives to make cancer a national priority.
